Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 2770603 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Sales Floor Management: Assign sales staff to duties, manage sales floor operations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of sales staff, including interest and professional development courses.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and ensuring accurate inventory counts.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, to inform business decisions.
  • Store Operations: Manage store operations, including cash handling, payroll administration, and overseeing the activities of office and volunteer staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
