About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Spectrum Power Systems Inc. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a key role in promoting our equipment and services to existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Sales
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to increase sales and customer satisfaction
  • Client Needs Assessment
    • Assess client needs and resources to recommend the appropriate equipment or services
    • Develop and present customized solutions to meet client needs
  • Proposal Development
    • Develop and present proposals to illustrate the benefits of our equipment and services
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality proposals
  • Sales Support
    • Provide ongoing support to clients after sale to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Training and Development
    • Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of our equipment
    • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance customer knowledge and skills
  • Problem Resolution
    • Resolve product and service-related problems in a timely and professional manner
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists as needed
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful sales outcomes
  • Business Acumen
    • Estimate costs of installing and maintaining our equipment or services
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or business development role
  • Language
    • Fluency in English
  • Work Environment
    • Permanent position
    • 32 to 40 hours per week
