About the Role

As a key member of the Trail Appliances Ltd. team, the Director of Multifamily Sales will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction for our multifamily builder clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Multifamily Sales Division: Strategically identify and seize opportunities within the multifamily and apartment replacement business channels, with a focus on enhancing sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Key Accounts: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring timely execution of engagements throughout the full project cycle.
  • Marketing and Budget Execution: Oversee the execution of the multifamily builder marketing budget for events and sponsorships.
  • Contract Management: Serve as an authorized signatory for multifamily builder contract management, working closely with the Contract Manager.
  • Business Development: Create new opportunities to land target accounts and grow new networks within the multifamily industry.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in community events to reflect the brand and business within our market.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and formalize relationships with supplier networks to improve multifamily builder support.
  • Pricing Management: Collaborate with managers and purchasing to develop, document, and monitor ongoing pricing management procedures to drive profitability and inventory turns.
  • KAM Succession Planning: Create and implement a structured approach for key account manager succession planning and recruitment.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Ensure collaboration between sales, logistics, finance, technology, and purchasing to achieve company objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 Years' Experience: In a professional sales environment.
  • Minimum 5 Years' Experience: In a B2B sales environment.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize time and manage multiple short-term and long-term projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience working with high-performance sales professionals.
  • Contract Management: Experience with contract management.
  • Key Account Management: Experience with key account management.
  • Project Coordination: Experience with project coordination.
