Position Overview:

Director File is seeking a Regional Sales Director who can elevate our business initiatives. This role will focus on strategic business development with key accounts across various commercial sectors while also providing mentorship and guidance to a team of 5-7 Account Executives. The position will report directly to the Regional Vice President and will be instrumental in executing strategies aimed at enhancing the Director File brand and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Regional Sales Director will be accountable for business development with targeted clients and will mentor the wider team to achieve sales objectives.
  • Ensure alignment of the commercial sales strategy with the overarching goals set by the Regional Vice President.
  • Maintain superior standards for products, pricing, representation, and customer service.
  • Act as a representative of the commercial division by implementing a trade activity calendar that maximizes business opportunities and strengthens brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to establish sales targets for the designated region and ensure compliance with established policies and practices, exercising sound judgment to uphold corporate ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, along with a combination of education and training that equips the candidate with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform effectively.
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales concepts, including product development, distribution, customer service, and basic financial principles.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in engaging and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels through excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Adept at acquiring and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of diverse business and product lines, as well as analyzing statistical and financial data.
  • Exhibit professionalism and utilize effective conflict resolution techniques in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Prior knowledge of Director File products, distribution methods, and sales strategies is advantageous.
  • Skilled in negotiating under challenging circumstances with both internal and external parties.

Additional Information:

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for trade shows, client visits, and team meetings.
