Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing our market share and driving revenue growth through identifying and securing new business opportunities in the multifamily industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts to achieve assigned sales growth quotas and targets
  • Prospect for potential new customers using various direct methods such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Manage territory and time effectively to exceed personal goals
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
  • Develop and maintain territory plans to outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
  • Daily tracking of all sales activity through CRM
  • Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders and quotes
  • Attend team meetings for continued training and development of business skills
  • Work effectively with other members of the team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role
  • Basic understanding of laundry room operations, laundry systems, technologies, and utility expenses (water, hydro, natural gas)
  • Closing skills are an asset
  • Adapt to different business environments and settings
  • Solid track record in developing growth with new accounts
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Be resourceful and organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Experience with equipment financing would be an asset but not required
