Job Overview

Mohawk is seeking a highly skilled professional to drive business growth and development in Canada. This role is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and developing strategic business plans to achieve sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Business Strategies: Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  2. Lead and Mentor Sales Team: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and provide coaching and guidance to ensure team success.
  3. Align Commercial Sales Plans: Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to align commercial sales business plans with regional strategies and objectives.
  4. Represent Commercial Business Unit: Represent the commercial business unit and implement trade activity calendars to exploit business opportunities and strengthen the brand position in the marketplace.
  5. Establish Sales Objectives: Establish sales objectives for the region and ensure sales activities comply with established policies, procedures, and practices.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Four-year college degree in business, marketing, or a related field, and ~5-7 or more years of related work experience.
  2. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the terms, concepts, and practices of the marketing and sales environment, including product development and manufacturing procedures, distribution, customer service, and basic accounting.
  3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and negotiate with internal and external customers and business contacts at all organizational levels.
  4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of a company's diverse business and product lines, as well as gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze statistical and financial data.
  5. Professionalism and Conflict Resolution: Maintaining professionalism and utilizing appropriate conflict resolution methods in all situations in accordance with corporate standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Industry Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of Mohawk products, distribution options, sales strategies, and/or programs.
  2. Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 50% for trade shows, customer visitation, team meetings, etc.
