Key Responsibilities:

Director File is in search of a Regional Sales Director who can elevate the business impact of our organization. This role entails regional oversight for strategic business growth with essential clients across various commercial sectors, alongside guiding and developing a team of 5-7 Account Executives (AEs). The position will report directly to the Regional Vice President and will implement strategies aimed at enhancing the Director File brand and expanding our market presence.

Primary Duties:

  • The Regional Sales Director will spearhead business development initiatives with key accounts while also mentoring and guiding the broader team to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure alignment of the commercial sales strategy with the objectives set forth by the regional RVP.
  • Maintain superior standards for products, pricing, representation, and service.
  • Act as the representative for the commercial business unit by executing the trade activity calendar to capitalize on business opportunities and bolster brand recognition in the market.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to set sales objectives for the designated region and ensure compliance with established policies and practices, exercising sound judgment to uphold corporate ethical standards in the absence of formal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, complemented by education and training that equips the candidate with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill the essential functions of the role, alongside demonstrated professional growth.
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales principles, including product development, distribution, customer service, and basic financial practices.

Skills:

  • Proficient in engaging and negotiating with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels through exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Adept at acquiring and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of diverse business operations and product lines, along with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret statistical and financial data.
  • Exhibit professionalism and employ effective conflict resolution techniques in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Prior knowledge of Director File products, distribution strategies, and sales methodologies is advantageous.
  • Capable of negotiating effectively in challenging situations with various groups.

Additional Information:

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for trade shows, client meetings, and team gatherings.
