Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our market presence in the eastern Vancouver/BC area. This role is pivotal in enhancing our market share and generating revenue through the identification and acquisition of new business opportunities, particularly within the Hotel and Long-Term Care sectors. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with a proven track record in building relationships and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients to secure new contracts and achieve sales targets.
  • Utilize various prospecting methods, including direct outreach and networking, to identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage the complete sales process from initial engagement to successful closure.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize sales activities to maximize productivity and results.
  • Qualify leads based on company criteria to ensure alignment with ideal customer profiles.
  • Create and maintain strategic territory plans to consistently meet sales objectives.
  • Track all sales activities and interactions using CRM software.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Participate in team meetings for ongoing training and skill development.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role.
  • Understanding of laundry operations, systems, and associated utility costs.
  • Strong closing skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt to various business environments.
  • Demonstrated success in growing new accounts.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
  • Strategic mindset with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada is mandatory.
  • Experience in equipment financing is a plus but not essential.
