About the Role:

Mohawk is seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Director to drive business growth and development across key commercial segments in Canada. This role will be responsible for mentoring and coaching a team of 5-7 Account Executives, reporting directly to the Regional Vice President.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • Mentor and coach the Account Executive team to achieve sales objectives and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to align commercial sales business plans with regional strategies and objectives.
  • Represent the commercial business unit by implementing trade activity calendars to exploit business opportunities and strengthen the brand position in the marketplace.
  • Assist in establishing sales objectives for the region and ensure sales activities comply with established policies, procedures, and practices.

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-7 or more years of related work experience and any combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Knowledge of the terms, concepts, and practices of the marketing and sales environment, including product development and manufacturing procedures, distribution, customer service, and basic accounting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of Mohawk products, distribution options, sales strategies, and/or programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and negotiate with internal and external customers and business contacts at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of a company's diverse business and product lines, as well as gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze statistical and financial data.
  • Maintaining professionalism and utilizing appropriate conflict resolution methods in all situations in accordance with corporate standards.
