Transportation Project Leader

This role is pivotal in addressing intricate transportation challenges and overseeing transformative projects from conception to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a variety of municipal planning and design projects.
  • Oversee multi-disciplinary teams in the preliminary and detailed design phases of road and bridge projects.
  • Ensure comprehensive project management from proposal through to completion, focusing on team coordination, budget adherence, scheduling, quality assurance, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate staff.
  • Facilitate collaboration among engineering disciplines to produce superior project deliverables.
  • Champion best practices in the execution of highway, road, and bridge projects.
  • Engage in business development activities, including strategic planning and proposal leadership.
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of business development strategies, enhancing client relationships.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Eligibility for Ontario professional designation.
  • Over 20 years of experience in the design and management of transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Experience collaborating with municipal transportation clients in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proven ability to develop, mentor, and lead technical teams.
