Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Tradesperson to join our maintenance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mechanical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of all production equipment, including conveyor systems, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic units, and pumps.
  • Interpret technical drawings and schematics, with a solid understanding of PLC and automated control systems.
  • Address routine breakdowns and repair challenges promptly.
  • Achieve high reliability within the plant by performing thorough and quality maintenance on machinery.
  • Optimize production machine performance through effective settings and adjustments.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs to enhance visibility and drive improvements.
  • Experience with oxyacetylene cutting and burning is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Industrial Mechanic / Millwright trade certificate (433A) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant industrial experience is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a commitment to continuous learning and a safety-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for collaboration with internal teams.
  • Proven experience in maintaining production lines or similar mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to effectively problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
