We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Emterra Group. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment within our plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, including conveyor systems, motors, hydraulic units, pneumatic units, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Respond to routine breakdowns and repair issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure high plant reliability by performing quality routine machine and plant maintenance.
  • Optimize equipment performance by setting production machines effectively and consistently.
  • Deliver maintenance KPIs to ensure visibility of maintenance performance and required improvement for sites.
  • Perform oxyacetylene cutting and burning tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Fully licensed Journeyperson with a valid Industrial Mechanic/Millwright trade certificate for the province of Ontario (433A) or equivalent.
  • 3-4 or more years of industrial experience, preferably in a maintenance role.
  • Mechanical background with a drive to further develop and learn, with a safety-first and resilient attitude to multi-task and effectively execute tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal customers and as part of a team.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work in a fast-paced environment.
