Job Summary

The Wellington Catholic District School Board is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Supply Secretary. As a key member of our school office team, you will provide administrative support to our schools, ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and office functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general secretarial assistance to school offices, including reception and attendance duties
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and external contacts
  • Assist with bookkeeping, school banking, and budget control, including purchase orders and tender orders
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a two-year post-secondary program in secretarial studies, office administration, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Previous bookkeeping and budget experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to function effectively with staff, parents, outside agencies, and members of the public
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of student information
  • Experience with PowerSchool and SDS is an asset
