Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at SCOOPS BREAKFAST AND LUNCH RESTAURANT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Budgeting and Cost Control
Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Operational EvaluationEvaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Revenue MonitoringMonitor revenues to determine labor costs and make adjustments as needed to ensure that we are operating within our budget.
Staff ManagementMonitor staff performance, plan and organize daily operations, recruit staff, set staff work schedules, and train staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
Service DevelopmentDetermine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure that our customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
Inventory ManagementOrganize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
Health and SafetyEnsure that health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Supplier NegotiationsNegotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure that we get the best prices and quality.
Customer RelationsNegotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to ensure that we meet their needs and build strong relationships.
Requirements- Education
College/CEGEP degree in a related field such as hospitality, business, or a related field.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
Supervision1 to 2 people or 3-4 people, depending on the needs of the restaurant.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesFast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Personal SuitabilityAccurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 30 hours per week.
