Culinary Operations Supervisor

As a Culinary Operations Supervisor at Big Ben's Fish and Chips Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen staff. Your leadership will ensure that our food preparation meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Lead and coordinate the activities of kitchen personnel involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Training: Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for food service personnel.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service adhere to our quality control standards.
- Customer Relations: Address any complaints or concerns raised by customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and food wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit necessary reports related to kitchen operations.
- Order Management: Compile food order summaries for the chef.
- Culinary Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of various culinary styles relevant to our establishment.
- Tray Assembly Oversight: Supervise the assembly of food trays.
- Delivery Coordination: Oversee the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
- Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for kitchen staff.
- Legal Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate may be required.
- Proximity: Residing near the workplace is preferred.
Candidates should have between 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.
