We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to oversee our culinary operations at INDICA HOUSE & HEADQUARTERS. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our food service department.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Prepare and submit relevant reports.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.

  • Assist newcomers and refugees with the recognition of foreign credentials.
  • No prior Canadian work experience is required.
