Culinary Services Supervisor

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team at Burger Factory. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for quality food service.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
This role is set in a fast-paced restaurant environment, where the ability to work under pressure is essential. The supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of 3-4 individuals, including cooks and food service staff.
Key Responsibilities- Order and manage food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and service.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
The supervisor will oversee:
- Cooks (general)
- Food and beverage servers
- Food service counter attendants and food preparers
- Kitchen and food service helpers
This position requires:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
- A combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
