Registered Practical Nurse, Traumatic Stress Injury Specialist

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals affected by traumatic stress injuries. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will be part of a collaborative team providing comprehensive care and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to patients with traumatic stress injuries, adhering to CNO standards and RNAO Best Practice Guidelines.
- Contribute to fluctuating patient care needs, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in clinical discussions, team meetings, and patient/family conferences to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current registration as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario, in good standing.
- Up to 6 months of experience in general nursing practice, with a focus on mental health and addiction care.
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act (MHA) and documentation standards (CNO).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient computer skills and experience working with various systems and software applications.
