About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Homewood Health, a leading provider of mental health and addiction services. As an Occupational Therapist, Traumatic Stress Injury Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate client recovery and reintegration into their communities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs to address trauma and stress injuries.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on coping strategies and self-management techniques.
- Participate in program development and evaluation to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with clients with trauma and stress injuries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
