Position Summary:
Goldthorpe Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. is on the lookout for a dynamic individual to become part of our thriving team as an Insurance Account Executive. We are searching for a proactive professional who is eager to contribute to our growth through meaningful interactions and exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities:

Our office is situated in the NW Calgary area, and we currently have one opening available. Join a stimulating, enjoyable, and lucrative team while enhancing your professional profile with a reputable organization. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. You will handle incoming inquiries for insurance quotes, engage in cross-selling and upselling, and finalize sales. Following your training and licensing, you will be welcomed into a supportive and accomplished team. This role does not involve door-to-door or cold calling sales. Compensation includes a base salary, bonuses, benefits, and commission opportunities, allowing for a highly competitive income. If you possess a friendly demeanor, an outgoing personality, and intrinsic motivation, you will thrive in this environment. Previous experience is not mandatory. We offer assistance with your education and will support you in obtaining your insurance sales license.

Qualifications:

  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Must maintain a clean credit history (no outstanding collections or bankruptcies within the last 7 years).
  • Sales experience (in fields such as retail, telemarketing, or as a sales representative) is preferred.
  • Proven history of achieving sales targets is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capability to present information to potential clients.
  • Post-training, you will have the autonomy to manage your day-to-day activities, thus self-motivation is essential.
  • Property & Casualty license is preferred but must be obtained.
