Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with existing clients, and develop a deep understanding of their insurance needs.
- Account Management: Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their unique needs and ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth, identify new business opportunities, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and service, to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve business objectives.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments, attend training and development programs, and maintain professional designations and certifications.
- Level 2 Insurance Agent: Must hold a valid Level 2 Insurance Agent designation.
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an independent commercial insurance business environment.
- Education: Post-secondary education preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong business acumen, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
