Position Overview

Victoria Netwitt is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional HR Manager to join our team. As a trusted business partner, you will provide strategic support to our Western Canada operations, leveraging your exceptional interpersonal and relationship skills to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on human resources functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Establish strong relationships throughout the organization, leading and developing solutions to people-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and support the growth of our Western Canada operations.
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment function, including job posting, applicant screening, and onboarding.
  • Consult with leadership on disciplinary action and separations, and oversee investigations into employee relations matters.
  • Provide support and counsel to employees and leadership on human resources-related inquiries and requests.
  • Support employees with non-work-related injury/illness absences, including short-term disability and long-term disability claims.
  • Develop and implement programs, policies, and offerings to support business growth and employee engagement.
  • Provide advice on complex performance coaching and counseling situations.
  • Collaborate with payroll to address employee questions and issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent education.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in human resources functions, with a focus on generalist experience.
  • Previous experience in a company with multiple lines of business and operations.
  • Proven track record of understanding business operations and how human resources can support it.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with experience partnering, collaborating, and building trust with employees and leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS programs, including Workday.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in full cycle recruitment and onboarding.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the organization and all human resource functions to support the business.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong change management skills, with a demonstrated ability to act as a catalyst for change within a quickly changing business.
