Position Title: Regional Manager, Human Resources

Overview

The Regional Manager, Human Resources will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive HR support to the operational functions across Western Canada. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role involves collaboration with diverse teams to ensure adherence to legal standards, effective recruitment, onboarding processes, performance management, and fostering positive employee relations. A strategic approach and the ability to influence organizational change positively are essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, a minimum of 7 years of HR experience, exceptional communication abilities, and a robust understanding of HRIS systems along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on HR functions, policies, and procedures
  • Develop effective solutions for employee-related challenges
  • Collaborate with HR teams on various initiatives
  • Oversee the complete recruitment cycle
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires
  • Conduct thorough investigations on employee relations issues
  • Support benefits administration, disability management, and performance coaching
  • Recommend and implement HR programs aligned with best practices
  • Work closely with the leadership team and payroll departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience in a multi-line business environment is preferred
  • Strong relationship management capabilities
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience in recruitment and onboarding
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Expertise in change management
