Your Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver healthcare services to individuals of all ages in their residences and various community settings throughout Nova Scotia.

  • Management of diabetes
  • Dialysis procedures
  • Administration of IV medications
  • IV/CVAD management
  • Palliative care services
  • Phlebotomy
  • Wound care, including advanced therapies for complex wounds
  • And more

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the province of practice
  • Experience in community health is preferred
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential
  • A current and original satisfactory Criminal Records Check is mandatory, along with a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check if required
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is necessary

Physical Demands:

This position requires attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, involving physical activities such as lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that promote good body mechanics. Employees are expected to walk, sit, stand, and navigate stairs throughout their shifts, with some tasks necessitating fine motor skills.
