Your Responsibilities:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will deliver essential medical services to individuals of all ages in their residences and various community settings throughout Nova Scotia.

  • Management of diabetes
  • Support for dialysis patients
  • Medication oversight
  • Palliative care provision
  • Phlebotomy services
  • Wound care, including advanced therapies for complex wounds
  • And additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse designation in the relevant province
  • Experience in community health is preferred
  • A valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle are mandatory
  • A current and original satisfactory Criminal Records Check is necessary, along with potential Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check
  • Ability to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required
