Position Overview
Right at Home is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse, Registered Practical Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team on a casual basis for clinical trial and infusion visits in the Nova Scotia region. The successful candidate should possess a valid driver's license and have experience in IV initiation and blood draws.

Whether it’s a hospital, retirement community, or family residence, our services enhance the support provided by family members, government programs, or retirement facilities. Our adaptable, professional, and relationship-focused care is available when our clients need it the most.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, body temperature, heart rate, and respiration rate
- Collect, label, process, and prepare biological specimens for transportation to the central laboratory
- Administer 12-lead ECGs
- Ensure accountability for investigational medicinal products (IMP)
- Conduct urine pregnancy tests and urine drug screenings
- Evaluate and document changes in patient signs or symptoms as reported
- Review study medications
- Complete necessary visit documentation
Qualifications and Certifications:
- CPR Certification/First Aid Training (mandatory)
- Two-step TB test (mandatory)
- Vulnerable Sector Screening/Criminal Record Check (mandatory)
- Active nursing license in good standing with the NSCN (mandatory)
Health and Safety Measures:
All nursing staff are required to wear masks while interacting with clients. Personal protective equipment will be provided. Nurses must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and present proof of vaccination.
