Position: Senior QA Specialist in Systems Testing

Location: Remote (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: Temporary with Potential for Extension

A Senior QA Specialist is sought to formulate testing strategies, develop test scripts, and create comprehensive test cases while executing them across multiple system components. This position also encompasses the creation of testing strategy documentation, test plans, test cases, and test data tailored for various testing phases, including both technical and business functional validation. Proficiency in quality assurance and diverse testing methodologies is essential, including unit testing, integration testing, load testing, and performance testing.

Essential Skills:

  • Familiarity with DevOps, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
  • Proven experience in drafting Test Strategy and Test Plan documentation
  • Thorough experience in formulating detailed test cases
  • Ability to identify software defects and document them accurately
  • Experience in triaging defects and generating defect summary reports
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as ALM and DevOps
  • Knowledge of testing tools and techniques, including AODA, WCAG, and accessibility testing

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in manual testing methodologies: Systems testing, Mobile testing, and Accessibility testing
  • Hands-on experience in analyzing business requirements and determining test data needs
  • Prior experience with Driver, Vehicle, and Health services in web portal environments
  • Familiarity with Canada Post Address module, Web Content Management, and Government Payment Gateways
  • Extensive practical experience in accessibility testing for both web and mobile applications
