We are seeking a Financial Project Specialist to enhance our finance team at WSP Canada. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers to oversee project portfolios throughout their entire lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will encompass providing precise and timely financial data for project initiation, expense monitoring, revenue acknowledgment, forecasting, and project completion. Your contributions will be vital in optimizing our project management systems, thereby driving the success of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support multiple projects across various business units
  • Conduct financial assessments to ensure adherence to established standards and policies
  • Facilitate project financial lifecycle management
  • Guarantee accuracy in project initiation and financial documentation
  • Collaborate with the Project Delivery Team regarding project progress
  • Assist in project audits and revenue modifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project accounting
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and project-centric accounting
  • Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication and analytical capabilities
