Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting and Financial Specialist to join our team at PCF HR Solutions. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our company's receivables and ensuring timely payments from clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Invoice Management: Update and process invoices in our system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  2. Client Communication: Establish and maintain relationships with clients to obtain payment updates and resolve any discrepancies.
  3. Scheduling and Organization: Create and manage a detailed schedule of daily activities to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  4. System Utilization: Effectively use our internal systems to manage receivables and track payments.
  5. Receivable Balances: Update and maintain accurate records of receivable balances.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Experience: Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field, with a background in accounting preferred.
  2. Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of computers and computer software, including proficiency in accounting systems.
  3. Professional Attire: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  4. Client Interaction: Develop strong relationships with clients through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Accounting Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  6. Clerical and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate excellent clerical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

  4. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, with proficiency in accounting software and systems.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Wage: $19 per hour
  • Pay Frequency: Weekly pay
