Sushi Langford - Belmont is seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional to join our team as a First Cook. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. Key responsibilities include planning menus, estimating food requirements, preparing and cooking meals, training staff, ordering supplies, and supervising kitchen staff. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and be fluent in English. The position requires a permanent commitment of 30-40 hours per week. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Plan menus and estimate food requirements
* Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
* Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
* Order supplies and equipment
* Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
* Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
* Clean kitchen and work areas
* Recruit and hire staff
* Manage kitchen operations

**Requirements:**

* 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Fluency in English
* Permanent commitment of 30-40 hours per week
