Position Overview

Role: Law Clerk - Commercial Lending

This position involves working within the commercial real estate and financial lending sector, focusing on complex transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that client expectations and requests are met promptly while fostering positive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate filing processes
  • Draft documentation for lenders
  • Conduct thorough searches and requisitions related to properties, PPSA, bankruptcy, and writs
  • Coordinate with the lawyers representing borrowers
  • Review and finalize private mortgages, deeds, discharge of charges, notices, applications, and liens
  • Examine agreements of purchase and sale
  • Prepare comprehensive final reports for lenders

Essential Skills: Excellent time management abilities and the capacity to work autonomously are crucial for this role.
