WAREHOUSE SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST - NIGHT SHIFT

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supply Chain Specialist for our operations.

This is a full-time, permanent night shift role, with hours from 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday.

This position presents a rewarding opportunity for a driven individual to showcase their leadership skills and forklift operation proficiency within a large manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Supply Chain Supervisor, the Warehouse Supply Chain Specialist will manage daily operations across various roles within the Supply Chain Department. The specialist will receive training in multiple operational positions as they develop their skills.
  • Assist in the loading and placement of products from transportation vehicles and related departments.
  • Support the implementation of USG’s operational programs, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate safely in a manufacturing environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
  • Experience with quality control processes and inspection procedures.
  • Follow printed work orders to complete assigned tasks accurately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for document review and revision.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for work-related communication.
  • Willingness to learn to operate various plant equipment.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to identify unsafe conditions or hazards in the workplace.
  • Demonstrate teamwork in areas related to safety, quality, and production.
