Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Metro Supply Chain. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the movement of products within the warehouse, including receiving, order picking, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Operate material handling equipment and RF technology to optimize productivity and accuracy.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure quality and consistency in all warehouse activities.
  • Participate in inventory activities, including physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company Health & Safety policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and promote a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience in a warehouse environment, with a proven track record of safety and efficiency.
  • Previous experience with RF-based Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably Red Prairie.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
