Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor is a key role within Metro Supply Chain, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facilities. This position requires a strong leader who can manage and motivate a team of warehouse personnel to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and supervise warehouse personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
