Position: Director of Strategic Initiatives

We are seeking a Director of Strategic Initiatives to enhance our operations at Monks Associates Inc. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead significant growth and demand generation strategies, working closely with our clients and interdisciplinary teams to produce exceptional results in a dynamic setting.

This role involves collaboration with a major client focused on Commerce Acquisition, developing comprehensive global strategies that align with our client's overarching goals.

The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to seize new opportunities, and possesses a deep passion for their work, demonstrating agility and efficiency in achieving objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend client objectives and establish effective management processes by analyzing issues, trends, and perspectives that may impact our initiatives.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions with clients to cultivate innovative and impactful concepts for enhancing key projects; transform the best ideas into actionable strategies.
  • Oversee the creation of campaigns that elevate initiatives, including a thorough understanding of various marketing channels, their optimal usage, necessary marketing assets, and the management of asset development.
  • Take charge of measuring and analyzing channels and campaigns, focusing on maximizing qualified business opportunities and ensuring a strong return on investment.
  • Facilitate team-wide and executive communications between clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ensure project timelines are met through structured tracking and reporting, continuously seeking improvements in processes and efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to ensure alignment of goals across functions and drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to evaluate campaign effectiveness, analyzing results to recommend enhancements for future campaigns.
  • Conduct audits of campaign creatives to offer strategic recommendations for updating existing marketing materials.
  • When projects face delays or lack momentum, mobilize the necessary resources and attention to realign efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline.
  • Over 8 years of experience in marketing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of online marketing, including brand management, acquisition, demand generation, nurturing, growth, partnerships, and retention strategies.
  • A creative marketer with a strong understanding of customer motivations and a proven history of designing effective programs.
  • Proficient in creative testing methodologies, with the ability to interpret A/B testing results and formulate optimization strategies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to execute complex, data-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and intricate global projects simultaneously.
  • Able to thrive in ambiguous environments, adopting an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Skilled in cross-team collaboration, relationship building, and influencing senior management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt style to various audiences.
  • A sense of humor: valuing laughter and enjoyment in the workplace while maintaining a strong work ethic.
Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000 annually. Salary determination will consider relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
