Position Overview:

The Senior Director of Sales Operations Strategy at Women in Payments plays a pivotal role within the organization, directly reporting to the VP of Sales Operations and working in close partnership with the Chief Revenue Officer. This position is highly visible and is essential in shaping and implementing the Sales Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders across various global GTM functions and the wider cross-functional organization to pinpoint optimization opportunities and gaps, propose solutions, and lead project management and execution of priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify areas for optimization and gaps within GTM divisions through both quantitative and qualitative insights to drive strategic solutions.
  • Establish metrics and leading indicators of business performance to proactively highlight areas of opportunity and risk.
  • Formulate recommendations for leadership regarding resource allocation decisions and GTM competitive strategy.
  • Work alongside Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to set strategic objectives and execute key initiatives.
  • Enhance the Sales knowledge base by collaborating with Sales Enablement and other GTM roles to update documentation.
  • Oversee AI initiatives related to GTM strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Engage with Executives and Senior Leaders to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Refine the Sales Productivity model and support planning and field resource effectiveness.
  • Drive competitive intelligence and strategy formulation across industry verticals.
  • Manage ad hoc sales projects as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
  • 12+ years of experience in sales and go-to-market strategy, ideally within a high-growth fintech environment.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Experience in leading and motivating teams and driving impactful initiatives.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented team leader with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to develop and implement new methodologies for ongoing efficiency and scalability.
  • Capable of analyzing data to make informed recommendations and develop actionable plans.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of processes and product domains.
  • Skilled in creating Executive-level presentation content.
