About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Security Professional to join our Healthcare Division at Paladin Security. As a Security Professional, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors at our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control: Provide secure access to authorized personnel and visitors, while restricting access to restricted areas.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, including alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
  • Patrols and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and irregularities, documenting and reporting findings as required.
  • Patient Safety: Monitor patient safety and well-being, documenting and reporting incidents as necessary.
Requirements
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Demonstrate calm and confident problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to de-escalate conflicts.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and discretion in the workplace.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to perform the physical demands of the job, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a valid AB Security license or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing work with Paladin Security.
