Join Our Investigative Services Team
At Intact Financial Corporation, we are seeking a dedicated Fraud Investigation Specialist to enhance our team in Western Canada. In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Assess Investigative Leads: Qualify tips and leads related to Auto and Property insurance claims, ensuring thorough evaluation.
  • Identify Fraud Indicators: Analyze information meticulously to determine the necessity for further investigation.
  • Conduct Initial Screening: Review claims evidence across various business lines, providing actionable recommendations to adjusters and management.
  • Utilize Analytical Tools: Employ fraud analytics to assess the viability of leads and information.
  • Project Collaboration: Engage in project work with Investigative Services and other Claims departments to achieve project objectives.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain respectful and timely communication with stakeholders regarding decisions and feedback on leads and projects.
  • Consultation: Work with internal and external parties to enhance fraud detection strategies and support business initiatives.
  • Innovative Strategies: Contribute to the development of investigative strategies and support AI initiatives within claims.
  • Education and Awareness: Liaise with market staff to promote fraud awareness.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in claims related to auto, accident benefits, property, or casualty is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to recognize fraud indicators and develop innovative investigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with AI initiatives and their practical applications.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial sector is a plus.
  • No prior Canadian work experience is necessary, but eligibility to work in Canada is required.
