About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Operations Specialist to join our team at Dapper Labs. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our blockchain-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Develop and implement effective compliance and risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to our platform.
  • Transaction Monitoring and Analysis: Analyze vast amounts of data to identify and prevent money laundering and fraudulent activity.
  • Emerging Risk Patterns: Identify and develop creative solutions to emerging money laundering and fraud patterns, balancing risk management with exceptional user experiences.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and secure experiences for our users.
Requirements
  • Passion for Web3: You have a genuine interest in the potential of blockchain and crypto, and are excited about the opportunity to be part of a team shaping the future.
  • Compliance and Risk Management Experience: You have a solid background in KYC, compliance on-boarding, and transaction monitoring, with a keen understanding of money laundering patterns and blockchain investigations.
  • Fraud Analysis Expertise: You have a strong background in risk analysis, with a deep understanding of fraud schemes, particularly in digital and virtual goods.
  • Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: Skilled in data analysis (Microsoft Excel, SQL, Google BigQuery) and familiar with the nuances of online fraud (account takeover, carding, chargebacks, etc.).
  • Strong Communicator: Articulate in both verbal and written forms, able to convey complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
