About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at CB Canada. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day administrative and clerical functions of our service department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist all customers entering the service area, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Address customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, responding to their needs and concerns.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues.
  • Contact customers to obtain authorization for additional work, ensuring that all necessary information is provided.
  • Follow up on the status of repairs, ensuring that units are ready for pickup as promised.
  • Advise customers of any delays or issues, providing regular updates and keeping them informed.
  • Work closely with service personnel to provide accurate quotes for repairs, ensuring that customers are aware of all costs involved.
  • Prepare and review work orders to ensure all charges are fair, equitable, and properly documented.
  • Ensure that all work orders are closed in a timely manner, meeting monthly and yearly targets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
  • 2-5 years of prior service department technical experience or mechanical background preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with CDK Software considered an asset.
