Job Summary

Herman's Supply Company is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business with contractors and providing a world-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales from walk-in clients, our website, business partners, marketing campaigns, and other methods.
  • Qualify, conduct needs analysis, and follow-up with prospects to ensure they purchase products and services that meet their needs.
  • Field and respond to incoming calls and other inquiries.
  • Cold-calling contractors and related lead generation.
  • Attain and exceed direct and cross-sell sales goals.

Requirements

  • Ability to prospect, qualify, and close sales.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of B2B sales experience required; experience dealing with contractors a definite asset.
  • Sales experience in the construction industry is preferable.
  • Must be comfortable meeting and exceeding monthly quotas.
  • Proficient organizational skills and good problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude, confident, and desire to be the best.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good general computer skills.
  • Previous telephone sales experience.
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
