Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Sue Atkinson Insurance Agency Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including referrals, networking, and online research.
  • Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on our insurance products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Communication and Presentation: Develop strong communication and presentation skills to effectively present our products and services to clients.
  • Time Management and Organization: Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet sales targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Property and Casualty License: Must have a valid Property and Casualty license (OTL license).
  • Sales Experience: Previous sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry, is an asset.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive and Goal-Oriented: Must be proactive and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to meet sales targets and exceed expectations.
