About the Role

The Vice President of Events, Partnerships and Field Marketing is a strategic leadership position at BDC, responsible for driving the company's growth through innovative event management, strategic partnerships, and effective field marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement a Comprehensive Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive strategy for events, partnerships, and field marketing that aligns with BDC's overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Identify and Leverage Strategic Partnerships: Identify and leverage strategic partnerships to increase BDC's awareness and visibility, advising the executive team on key strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee Partnership Management Practice: Oversee a solid governance around the bank's partnership management practice and maintain a 360-degree view of all partners at BDC.
  • Develop and Plan Sponsorship Programs: Lead the development and planning of sponsorship programs aligned with BDC's brand and business development objectives in its various markets.
  • Manage Internal and External Events: Provide direction for the proper management of internal and external events to ensure smooth operation and maximize exposure.
  • Develop Marketing Materials: Lead the development of performing marketing materials across all channels, including emails, apps, presentations, videos, etc.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of events, partnerships, and field marketing initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: Fifteen years of business experience, with a minimum of seven years in a senior management role.
  • Skills: Extensive experience in event management, partnerships, and field marketing. Highly effective relationship building skills, including interpersonal networking. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Language: Proficient in both official languages (English and French).
