Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of Mass Timber Projects, from start to finish. This role will involve working closely with the sales and project teams to develop strategies and processes to execute and deliver integrated mass timber solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and maintain project schedules in conjunction with clients to achieve all project milestones.
    • Manage the submittals process to ensure clear documentation and timely approvals.
    • Monitor internal project specific design, manufacturing, purchased materials and service costs throughout the process.
  • Financial Management
    • Maintain and track all financial aspects of projects, including budget to actual forecasts and construction cash flows.
    • Manage the procurement process, including relevant subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Collaborate with the sales team to establish project budgets and final contract details, specifications, and pricing.
    • Provide alternate design, specification, and construction solutions when problems are encountered.
  • Business Development
    • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
    • Identify opportunities for business growth and development.

Requirements

  • Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects according to scope, budget, and timeline expectations.
  • Project planning, risk mitigation, time management skills.
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
  • Contract review and negotiation.
  • Problem-solving and leadership skills.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be required to travel to project sites or corporate locations as needed. Overtime may be required, and occasional exposure to dust, noise, and fumes may be encountered when visiting various sites.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: Starting at $85,000.00.
  • Schedule: Hybrid, Monday - Friday.
