Position Overview

We are in search of a Corporate Partnership Development Manager who will spearhead sustainable revenue growth by identifying and cultivating new corporate partnership opportunities. You will be responsible for crafting a partnership sales strategy that aligns with our non-fare revenue objectives, aiming to achieve established growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Business Development: Utilize industry insights to provide strategic guidance and oversee the creation of new corporate and promotional partnerships. Assess potential opportunities to recommend priority initiatives for the partnership sales team.
  • Sales Targets & Quota Achievement: Collaborate with the team to meet individual and collective monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as determined by management. Focus on high-impact partnership opportunities that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Collaboration & Relationship Management: Establish and nurture key relationships with external stakeholders and partners throughout the business development process. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on partnership opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation & Execution: Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that are in line with organizational goals. Collaborate closely with Marketing Research & Analytics teams to benchmark and plan new initiatives.
  • Market Analysis & Financial Reporting: Employ market research to assess existing partnership assets, uncover new opportunities, and remain ahead of market trends. Prepare monthly reports on key performance indicators, sales pipeline, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Client Engagement & Compliance: Maintain active engagement with corporate partners through regular meetings, focusing on enhancing key accounts. Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, including the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) concerning non-fare sales.
  • Monitoring & Strategy Development: Oversee the monitoring of contractual and financial performance, recommending strategies to meet revenue targets. Stay updated on emerging trends to proactively adjust sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent.
  • Proven experience in corporate partnership and/or sponsorship sales roles.
  • A strong sales record and demonstrated business development experience.
  • Experience in building and managing a sales pipeline that consistently meets personal and team sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of partnership sales and business development strategies.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including effective presentation skills.
  • A business-oriented individual with strong financial acumen and business case development skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and formulate recommendations and solutions.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Understanding of the significance and impact of strategic and corporate partnerships.
  • Expertise in managing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients with complex contractual agreements.
  • Proficient in overseeing marketing or business contracts to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to facilitate the achievement of partners' objectives.
