Position Summary:

The Manager, Corporate Partnerships plays a vital role within the Corporate Partnerships team, focusing on the development and management of fruitful relationships with corporate stakeholders across key sectors. This position is essential for securing support for our Precision Child Health campaign and other initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with corporations in the B2C sector, targeting both large enterprises and mid-market businesses.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of over 50 corporate partners and prospects.
  • Concentrate on point-of-sale campaigns within the retail sector.
  • Facilitate meetings to cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate partners, aiming to generate new business and enhance existing partnerships.
  • Assist in developing cultivation and solicitation strategies, crafting compelling proposals that encompass cause marketing, sponsorship, philanthropic contributions, and employee giving.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify potential donor prospects.
  • Support strategies for donor acquisition, retention, and migration for corporate contributors.
  • Foster effective relationships within the hospital to align programs, develop proposals, and manage donor interactions.
  • Work collaboratively across various teams within the foundation, including Activation, Business Intelligence, Major Gifts, and Stewardship.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and track activities in the CRM database.
  • Build a network of contacts to advance the mission of SickKids Foundation.
  • Participate in team and cross-functional projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in fundraising, marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in cause marketing, corporate fundraising, and B2C business development with a proven record of exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the significance of pediatric healthcare.
  • Exceptional networking and business development capabilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Creative and resourceful with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
