Position Overview:

The Manager, Corporate Partnerships plays a vital role within the Corporate Partnerships team, focusing on establishing and nurturing fruitful relationships with corporate stakeholders across key sectors to secure support for the Precision Child Health campaign and other initiatives. This role emphasizes business development within the B2C sector, aiming to expand both new and existing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and sustain relationships with corporations in the B2C sector, targeting large enterprises and mid-market businesses.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of over 50 corporate partners and prospects.
  • Concentrate on point-of-sale campaigns within the retail sector.
  • Arrange meetings to cultivate and manage ongoing relationships with corporate partners, aiming to generate new business and enhance existing collaborations.
  • Assist in developing cultivation and solicitation strategies, crafting compelling multi-channel proposals encompassing cause marketing, sponsorship, philanthropic contributions, and employee giving.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify potential donor prospects.
  • Support strategies for donor acquisition, retention, and migration for corporate contributors.
  • Foster effective relationships within the hospital to align programs, develop proposals, and manage donor engagement.
  • Work collaboratively across various teams within the foundation, including Activation, Business Intelligence, Major Gifts, and Donor Relations.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and track activities in the CRM database.
  • Develop a network of contacts to further the mission of SickKids Foundation.
  • Participate in team and cross-functional projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in fundraising, marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in cause marketing, corporate fundraising, and B2C business development, with a proven record of exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong fundraising or sales skills with experience managing complex relationships at various organizational levels.
  • Ability to articulate the significance of pediatric healthcare and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional networking and business development capabilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, resourceful, and driven to achieve results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and storytelling.
  • Experience with relational databases is an asset.
