About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Executive to join our team at HUB International Canada West ULC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our full suite of insurance products and services to businesses and individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer expectations and provide exceptional service
  • Assist clients with questions regarding their coverage and negotiate with underwriters
  • Communicate with company personnel regarding client needs and problems
  • Understand agency rating systems and company rating systems
  • Prospect for new business and close deals
  • Prepare marketing submissions, proposals, and summaries of insurance
  • Review and analyze claims and discuss with clients
  • Issue certificates of insurance and motor vehicle liability slips
  • Review payments and perform other miscellaneous duties as required
Requirements
  • Level 2 General Insurance License
  • Driven to achieve sales results
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance
  • Strong commitment to personal growth and development
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
