About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team at HUB International Canada West ULC (Canada West). As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow our commercial book of business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to present to clients
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activity, and business development efforts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, account managers, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and business development initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in commercial sales, account management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth
  • Strong understanding of the insurance industry, including commercial lines, risk management, and business development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
