Surgical Fitter Specialist

Job Summary
Calgary Co-op Home Health Care is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Surgical Fitter to join our team. As a Surgical Fitter, you will play a critical role in maintaining customer service standards, ensuring safe and efficient operation, and upholding confidentiality of sensitive matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive customer relationships through proper handling of customer merchandise, questions, comments, requests, and complaints.
- Work effectively in a diverse team environment, demonstrating proficiency and friendliness.
- Assist the supervisor in ensuring the department operates in accordance with company policies, procedures, programs, merchandising standards, and overall expectations.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the supervisor regarding recommendations for continued improvement of the fitting department.
- Develop and maintain strong, efficient, and productive working relationships with approved professionals, business organizations, and internal/external company representatives.
- Accurately and efficiently handle the sale of merchandise, inventory control, price integrity, and administrative areas.
- Adhere to all government and professional standards and regulations applicable to the Home Health Care Industry.
- Take responsibility for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), including participating in OH&S activities, being knowledgeable about and complying with OH&S policies, procedures, and legislation, and assisting in identifying unhealthy, unsafe situations and ensuring corrective action is taken.
Requirements
- Grade 12 Education
- Medical-related education or background
- Previous customer service experience
- Basic computer skills
